Claus Yding Andersen is Scientific Director of the Laboratory of Reproductive Biology, University Hospital of Copenhagen, Denmark and Professor of Human Reproductive Physiology with the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen. He is educated as MSc (1979) and DMSc (1997) and has spent almost his entire career in reproductive medicine at LRB.
Professor Andersen was a member of the team that introduced IVF to Denmark in the mid-1980s and has worked as a consultant in more than 10 fertility clinics nationally and internationally. During the early years of IVF in Denmark, he produced and sold media for IVF treatment to all Danish IVF clinics and has been involved in media improvements throughout the years.
During the last twenty years he has headed a national program of cryopreservation of human ovarian and testicular tissue. He is considered one of the pioneers in this field and continues to expand the indications for the use of ovarian tissue cryopreservation in different clinical settings.
Professor Andersen’s major research contributions have been in ovarian endocrinology, oocyte maturation, cryopreservation of gonadal tissue, human embryonic stem cells and development of new principles for ovarian stimulation including the introduction of the agonist trigger and novel approaches to luteal phase support.
He has published more than 400 peer-reviewed scientific papers. He is a much-requested international lecturer and is currently giving around 30 international lectures annually. His current H-index is 77 with more than 20.000 citations. He is currently chief editor on the Reproduction section in Frontiers in Endocrinology.
Martin Thomsen has 15 years of experience as CFO and COO for international companies, doing business in China, USA, UK, Germany, Ukraine and Scandinavia. Furthermore, Martin Thomsen has been head of establishing 3 start-ups to successful companies.
He has due diligence on the seller and buyer side as well as successful sale of a company to a private equity fund.
Martin thomsen was in the lead of the establishment of a factory in Hundested, Denmark for Chinese investors, for production of infant formula for sale in China. Responsible for factory and production.

Design Control Specialist
Dorthe Thomsen has 25 years experience at Novo Nordisk with product support on insulin products, stability testing and documentation, as well as customer complaint handling. The past 3 years Dorthe has worked with medical device design control and verification.
In ARTSMedia Dorthe is responsible for design control, from design planning to design transfer and change control of design changes including risk management, useability engineering, design verification, validation, reviews.
QA and Laboratory Manager
Christina Tirsdal Kjempff has worked within research and teaching as laboratory technician in Academia Life Science and Biotech Industry within IVF and stem cells. She has 25 years experience from University of Copenhagen Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. She has performed a wide array of diagnostic testing, electrophysiology, histology processing of blood or tissue samples, and has extensive experience in preparing IVF and cell culture media. She supervises and performs the inhouse addition to MEA tests; the Bovine Embryo Assay tests on all manufactured media product. She is Safety Representative a position she also held at University for many years.
Other specific science areas Christina has worked with are immunology, histotechnology, hematology and electrophysiology.
Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator
Amalie Stroebech, holds a degree in Business Administration and Strategic Management.
Her expertise is within digital marketing, customer service, HR, sales and communication internationally as well as in Denmark. She has experience within the Life Science Industry from both the practical laboratory work within IVF as well as the commercial side. Amalie Strøbech works within Sales and Marketing and as laboratory assistant performing Bovine Embryo Assay tests on the ART media. She has participated in establishing the online subscription and training company Stroebech IVF Universe as marketing responsible.
Scientific Advisor Consultant, MD, PhD, DVSc.
Dr Avery is an international recognized pioneer within IVF and former associate professor (from the Veterinary Faculty, University of Copenhagen). Dr. Avery was for 27 years head of the IVF laboratory, and responsible for the research, which mainly included bovine, porcine and equine in vitro embryo technology. Dr Avery is a noteworthy embryologist, researcher and educator.
She became Doctor of Medicine, University Copenhagen, 1977 and PhD in Embryology, Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Copenhagen, 1991. And in 2007 Doctor in Veterinary Sciences, Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Copenhagen.
She has been a guest professor at Cornell University, New York, 1984, University Estate São Paulo, Jaboticabal, Brazil, 1993, University Wisconsin, Madison, 1996. Furthermore, she has been invited speaker to numerous national and international scientific conferences. She has worked from 2010 to currently, as Scientific Advisor and Consultant with Dr Stroebech optimizing and developing IVP media, and commercializing them into ready-to-use serum-free products. Thus, rendering a more accessible solution to IVP of bovine embryos and facilitated for more laboratories to implement the technique, without the trouble of media making and batch variation.
HR Partner & Coach
Inger Maaløe has 25 years of experience with executive coaching and partnership about leadership, training of leaders in coaching, team building, career planning and development of competencies, human resources, and mental resilience. Having worked 20 years in the Educational and Vocational Training sector as executive manager and 15 years in the financial sector as an HR Partner and Coach, Inger now supports the executive management team in ARTSMedia about HR and working environment and legal issues.
Inger holds degrees as cand.mag in Nordic philology, cand scient in Geography/Geology from Copenhagen University, Master’s degree of Learning Processes and Coaching from AUC, Systemic Management Education from DISPUK, and Coach educations from Attractor/Ramboell and Expand. Inger is an ICF Certified Professional Coach since 2013 and has been chairman of the ICF Ethical Committee since 2014. Since 2015 Inger holds an adv. Training certificate in Mental Resilience.

Ulrik Bangsbo Hansen is heading the Danish Life Science Sector Group at DLA Piper and has worked with the sector for almost 20 years.
The experience with the sector includes all kinds of corporate and commercial matters e.g. agreements concerning distribution, technology transfer, wholesalers, development, clinical trials, consultancy services, logistics, procurement etc.
Experience also includes regulatory and qualitative matters. Ulrik has been heading several complex restructuring projects and transactions.
Clients varies from some of the largest international companies to local MedTech and Biotech
Moreover, Ulrik has vast experience in corporate investments as well as the sale and purchase of enterprises and establishment of joint ventures. The assistance includes contract drafting, negotiating and due diligence where a large part of his advising concerns international issues.
Ulrik has served as chairman at Embryotrans ApS since 2016.
Ulrik regularly holds courses in company law, M&A and contract law.
