Scientific Advisor
Dr. Michael J. Tucker is a globally recognized leader in reproductive medicine and clinical embryology. With over 30 years of experience, he has played a key role in developing and advancing IVF technologies that continue to shape modern fertility treatment.
Dr. Tucker holds a doctorate in reproductive physiology from the University of Birmingham and an undergraduate degree in zoology and physiology from the University of London. He is certified as a High-Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director (HCLD) in the United States and is a Fellow of the Institute of Biology in the United Kingdom.
Among his many achievements, Dr. Tucker was responsible for the first U.S. birth following ICSI in 1992 and led the team that achieved the first successful pregnancy and birth from cryopreserved donor and immature eggs in 1997. He served as Scientific Director at Shady Grove Fertility, now US Fertility one of the most respected IVF networks in the United States.
